Location: All the wonderful crafts, food, rides, and music will be held along Spruce Hills Drive, in front of Cumberland Square
Description: OPENING CEREMONIES BEGIN AT 2:00 P.M.
- Bettendorf High School student Nathan Sullivan will sing the National Anthem.
The Quad City Skydiving Center’s Parachute Team will have shows throughout the day, including an evening show before the fireworks.
    
- Mayor Freemire and the City Council will be at the 4th of July festivities  giving away FREE ice cream cups. City officials will be at the  hospitality tent from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
 
- The Quad Cities Optimist Fishing Derby will be held at Middle Park Lagoon from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., prizes will be awarded.
 
- Beginning at 5:00 p.m., The DCamp Family Band will play at the Veterans’ Memorial Bandshell, located at 1645 23rd Street.
 
- Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the Bettendorf Park Band will play at the Veterans’ Memorial Bandshell, located at 1645 23rd Street.
 
All Day Activities
- Arts and crafts booths
- All types of food and beverage booths
- Miller’s Farmland Petting Zoo, $1.00
- Amusement Rides, 2:00-7:00 p.m.    Ticket prices for rides are: single ticket/$1 or 12 tickets/$10
- 2 tickets-Miller’s Farmland Petting Zoo Choo Train

- Attractions include: Jousting, each contestant stands on a small podium and tries to knock their opponent off with a padded jousting pole. Losers fall onto an inflated base. Airborne Adventure is a capsule where one adult or one or two children are harnessed into a parachute and raised almost 20 feet then gently lowered to the ground.

- Adult Bags Tournament-$30 non-refundable entry fee per team, double elimination tournament, must be 18 years of age or older, awards to 1st and 2nd place finishers, T-shirt for all participants. Team registration will be accepted at City Hall,1609 State Street through 5:00 p.m. on June 21 or register on-line at www.bettendorf.org/parks. On-site registration will not be accepted.

The Quad City Skydiving Center’s Parachute Team will have an evening parachute jump to kick off the fireworks. 
Fireworks begin at dusk at Veterans’ Memorial Park, sponsored by the Bettendorf Lions’ Club and the City of Bettendorf.
Rain date for the fireworks and Park Band ONLY is Saturday, July 10.
 
Bettendorf Transit Service will provide transportation to the 4th of July Festival. The location for the bus pick up/drop off will be announced at a later date.
